Documents Required to Start Your Project

To begin the design process, certain basic information will be required. The documents needed may vary depending on the type of work being planned.

Renovation Project

For a renovation project, we can begin the process using measurements that accurately represent the existing space. If you already have dimensions of the area involved, these can serve as a starting point for the analysis and design of your project.

If you prefer not to handle this step yourself, our team can also visit your home to take measurements on site and ensure all required information is gathered accurately.

New Construction or Expansion Project

For new construction or expansion projects, preliminary building plans are generally already available at the time of our meeting. These may have been prepared by an architect, a technologist, or another professional involved in your project.

If you do not yet have plans, Espace Bois JMC can also support you by providing a customized design service tailored to your needs. Our goal is to provide the flexibility you need to bring your ideas to life while supporting you throughout every phase of the process.

Concept Development

Once all information has been collected and your needs clearly established, our team begins developing a preliminary plan. This stage involves creating an initial proposal that outlines the project's overall structure, layout, and primary design direction. Following this stage, a meeting will be scheduled to present the preliminary concept.
